Warranty

All A.K.O., Inc. new calibration products are guaranteed for a period of One (1) Year from date of receipt, and are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal operating conditions. If our product fails to perform at any point during that time, A.K.O. will elect to repair or replace the defective item, at our sole discretion. Buyer must return the defective equipment, prepaid freight, to our CT location. This warranty excludes damage caused by improper operation, modification, or alteration. Damage resulting from either accident or neglect is also excluded. All existing system repairs and refurbishments are warrantied for 90 days.  Calibrations do not receive a warranty. This warranty does not include the cost of labor for removal or reinstallation of the product. Any loss of equipment use is also not covered under this warranty. 

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND A.K.O. DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY.

Limitation of Warranty

This warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from an Over-Torqued condition, improper use, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or misuse. Torque Transducers are rugged yet sensitive instruments, manufactured to operate within designed criteria and specified ranges or capacities, and are fully covered by this warranty, except for being Over-Torqued beyond the specified range. 

An Over-Torqued condition may result in permanent damage to the equipment and could cause personal injury. A.K.O., Inc. assumes no liability for consequential damages of any kind. The purchaser, by acceptance of these systems, components, or parts, assumes all liabilities of the consequence of their use or misuse.

NO OTHER WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
