TSD10035-HT-BTTS Hydraulic Torque Wrench Calibration System

A.K.O. Hydraulic Torque Wrench Calibration System, TSD10035-HT-BTTS, is a rugged and durable reactionary torque stand that is made to withstand the forces of hydraulic torque wrenches. It is offered in configurations of 4000lbf∙ft, 5000 lbf∙ft and 10000 lbf∙ft. These systems are made from solid steel plates in a compact package so the unit can be easily mounted to a bench using the mounting holes in the bottom plate of the system. The TSD6500 Digital Indicator, which displays the Output torque reading, can be used in Dual Display Mode to monitor the Input Pressure reading simultaneously from a TSD10KPT Pressure Transducer. The addition of our TSD10KRHYD Hydraulic Pump and TorqCal Pro software will upgrade this manual system to an automated data acquisition and Certification Generation system with the ability to perform Hydraulic Torque Wrench calibration and generate a certification in under 5 minutes.

Application

The TSD10035-HT-BTTS Hydraulic Torque Wrench Calibration System has several Adapters and a Pneumatic Wrench option available. With the appropriate adapters and accessories, these systems are capable of calibrating tools such as Hydraulic Square Drive Wrenches, Hydraulic Low Profile Hex Wrenches, Pneumatic Torque Tools, and Electric Torque Tools.

Operation

The TSD10035-HT-BTTS is a compact self-contained system designed to easily position the hydraulic torque wrench to react properly against a Two-way (CW, CCW) adjustable reaction post. The reaction torque is measured with our precision thru-hole design strain gauged Torque Transducer connected to a TSD6500 Digital Torque Indicator with Engineering Units Conversion feature that enables the user to choose the appropriate torque and pressure standard. The Hydraulic Torque Wrench to be tested and calibrated is installed on an appropriate Square Adapter, Hex Adapter, or Bushing and is then pressurized to user-selected points to verify the accuracy of the torque output.
